NexGen Engineering Manager

NexTier Completion Solutions is seeking a NexGen Engineering Manager to lead the start-up, deployment, and longevity of NextGen fleet projects and initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure effective deployment of NexGen equipment while driving continuous improvement projects and managing operations engineers.

Responsibilities

Partner with the senior management team to understand business needs and initiatives
Partner with the sales team to identify and provide reliable solutions to meet industry demands
Lead creating operational procedural guidelines
General management skills including process improvement, documentation, safety, supervision, developing & tracking budgets, coaching & supervision of staff, project management, performance management and inventory control
Manage and train NexGen Operations engineers to support new equipment
Participate in the selection of suppliers for new equipment builds, equipment optimizations, services, and rentals
Keep apprised of new technologies and strategies, evaluating use cases for operational implementation
Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate and coach team members regarding quality service and operation of NexGen equipment
Support all operations during initial NexGen equipment deployment with hands on training and product knowledge
Works closely with Sales to create and coordinate the presentation of quotes to customers
Oversee supporting project needs with focus on practical applications for equipment design
Engages with internal and external customers on a regular basis, delivering safe and efficient operations, tailored solutions, and maximizing delivery of value for both the company and its customers
Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects to meet and exceed business objectives
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Strong knowledge of NexGen equipment, mechanical-electrical build process, and primary components
Ability to communicate effectively and make presentations with audiences that include but are not support the fleet technically as data is gathered and evaluate opportunities to improve processes
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time effective
Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong familiarity with power generation processes and procedures
Commitment to NexTier company values
Strong knowledge of HSE practices related to the oil industry
Upholds the highest levels of personal accountability, integrity, and responsibility in every aspect of the day-to-day job
Able to solve problems using logic, judgement, and data to determine effective solutions
Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, receive and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 5 years in Completions engineering and/or operations role - Required

Preferred

Minimum of 5 years in a Supervisory role – Preferred
