Global Industrial Engineer
Ford Motor Company is a global leader in the automotive industry, and they are seeking a Global Industrial Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing labor efficiency in vehicle assembly plants and collaborating with various engineering teams to improve operational processes.

Responsibilities
Support forward model and capacity cost studies for all milestones including Direct Labor and Indirect Labor in Vehicle Assembly
Lead new model labor optimization efforts to achieve labor targets, through benchmarking, target setting, tracking process change, and replication across programs
Co-lead the Cycle Line Layout planning process
Support virtual build events with future model operator allocations and time studies, and work with plants to support physical build events & program launches
Minimize and/or offset labor impacts through labor blitzes, plant tasks/projects, and identifying design/process opportunities
Assist with operator allocations, cycle line layouts, plant rebalances, line speed changes, time studies, throughput issues, and launch support
Accurately maintain and deliver required IE documentation (Labor Glidepath, Program cost study response, Labor by Department, Plant Line speed, APT Assessment, etc.)
Develop & document standardization of methods & procedures for the organization
Drive & implement labor efficiency through deployment of global IE process, tools and standards
Work with plants to complete & evaluate time studies using MODAPTS as the measurement tool for work standards
Collaborate and work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, Finance, and/or plant personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Engineering
Plant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience preferred
MODAPTS certification
Experience working in a team environment
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong planning and organizational skills
Work well under pressure
