The Clinic Nurse, RN is responsible for providing direct care to participants, including wound care, medication management, and patient education in accordance with RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

Aid with all wound care (including complex wounds), IV (hydration, therapies), and any additional procedures within RN scope of practice identified to meet evolving participant needs
Provide clinical support to Medical Assistants performing procedures in clinic, as needed
Educate and instruct participants and family members, within RN scope of practice, as directed by PCP (disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, etc.)
Record patient care delivery as planned to include any variation, as well as record observations and implement nursing measures related to impending or associated problems

Qualification

Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBachelor of Science (BSN)Wound careIV therapyPatient education

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Reliable means of transportation
