Tree Brand Packaging is seeking a Financial Controller to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reporting of financial activities. The controller will manage the accounting team, oversee financial reporting, and assist in developing financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Responsible for month end company and site reporting including variance analyses, and performance outlook to the leadership team and to key managers

Organize month end closing process and develop closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting Analyze intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP

Examine the quality of financial information to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data

Collaborate with management to resolve any financial discrepancies

Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial policies, processes, and controls to maximize protection of company assets

Be the point person for external audits and taxation to the firm’s external advisors

Advise on financial decisions to support short- and long-term operational strategies

Assist in establishing financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, monitoring, and reporting

Maintain internal safeguards for organizational budgets verses actual expenditures

Oversee and support accounting team, accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, financial reporting, and compliance

Thoroughly understand, optimize, and leverage ERP systems for automation and reporting
