SAP EAM Technical Lead
Searchability® is seeking a highly experienced SAP EAM Technical Leader to drive large-scale transformations within the Utilities sector. This critical leadership role involves architecting and delivering Enterprise Asset Management solutions, ensuring integration with core utility processes and overseeing technical roadmaps and project execution.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP EAM solutions, focusing on technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
Supervise, mentor, and train junior technical teams
Lead solution design and technical workshops, effectively translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Lead the configuration and integration of Linear Asset Management (LAM) for assets like pipelines and power lines, and deeply integrate EAM with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Ensure robust and seamless integration of SAP EAM with critical SAP modules, including IS-U (Utilities), SCM, MM, and FI/CO
Oversee technical roadmaps, project planning, budgeting, and execution for EAM initiatives, resolving complex production support issues
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in SAP EAM/PM/CS with a minimum of two full lifecycle implementations
Strong technical and functional expertise in SAP EAM, Plant Maintenance (PM), and Customer Service (CS), with proficiency in SAP S/4HANA EAM
Strong expertise in the SAP EPPM suite (Project System - PS, and Project and Portfolio Management - PPM), including technical skill in configuring it for asset construction and repairs
Deep, proven understanding of end-to-end asset lifecycles—from planning and procurement through maintenance and disposal
Experience supporting technical requirements for regulatory compliance reporting for utility bodies
Willingness to maintain a Hybrid Remote schedule with periodic travel to Newark, DE (approx. 2 weeks per month)
