Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive project leadership, collaborating with clients, internal project teams, and site supervision to establish project objectives, define priorities, and allocate resources effectively
Exercise full financial accountability for projects, including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting to ensure profitability
Utilize advanced knowledge of project scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders, and contracts to manage scope, mitigate issues, and communicate critical path milestones
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities
Strategically plan and mobilize resources, including equipment, tools, and personnel, to meet project specifications and deadlines
Develop and implement solutions to technical and operational challenges, reviewing and applying drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with relevant codes and engineering standards
Ensure all project activities strictly comply with company policies, customer requirements, and government regulations (including OSHA)
Serve as the primary champion for the project safety program, enforcing standards that ensure a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors
Deliver regular, detailed project status reports to senior management
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years of direct construction project management experience, specifically within industrial rigging, mechanical, and piping markets
Proven track record of successfully managing high-complexity projects
A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in client relationship management and business development, with a history of preparing successful competitive bids
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on process adherence, accountability, and effective risk management
A strategic mindset, capable of developing project plans while simultaneously building and fostering stakeholder relationships
Comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety standards and OSHA regulations relevant to industrial construction
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management scheduling software
