Records and Information Manager
Cadence Group is seeking a detail-oriented Records and Information Manager to lead and oversee large, complex records management initiatives. This role is responsible for planning, staffing, and managing enterprise-level records management systems, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment across multiple teams and projects.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage large-scale records management tasks or multiple concurrent projects involving professionals, paraprofessionals, and clerical personnel
Develop and update records management systems at the enterprise level or for major organizational components
Oversee all operational aspects of records management, including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Ensure alignment of records management practices with organizational goals and federal standards
Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of records management solutions
Collaborate with Records Management Staff and records creators to conduct records appraisals in accordance with internal guidelines and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards
Develop comprehensive file plans and inventories to ensure all records are properly identified, scheduled, and maintained
Manage the storage, retrieval, protection, preservation, and destruction of records in compliance with applicable regulations
Supervise and manage personnel involved in records management support services
Collaborate with Records Management Staff, designees, and records creators to conduct records appraisals in accordance with internal guidelines and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards
Develop and implement file plans to ensure all records created and used by each program are properly identified, scheduled, and maintained
Create and maintain records inventories and file plans to support efficient records management
Oversee the storage, retrieval, protection, preservation, and authorized destruction of records in compliance with applicable regulations
Provide supervision and management of personnel involved in records management activities, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards
Qualification
Required
Must be a United States citizen
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing records management support services
Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation
Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining Records Retention Schedules
Experience conducting records appraisals and creating comprehensive file plans and inventories
Knowledge of best practices for storage, retrieval, protection, preservation, and destruction of records
Ensure records retention schedules continue to meet the evolving business needs of the agency by adjusting retentions as necessary and identifying new records series
Preferred
Master's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
