Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development of power sports products with a focus on breakthrough innovation, performance, and market relevance
Align engineering strategies with long-term business objectives, emerging trends, and customer needs
Direct and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams while fostering collaboration across design, product management, and manufacturing functions
Identify and develop new technologies, materials, and systems that push the boundaries of performance and user experience
Serve as a subject matter expert across product lines (water, dirt, snow), bringing firsthand product use and market insight
Drive cross-functional integration with the client’s core manufacturing competencies: metal fabrication, plastics, glass, electronics, and furniture
Communicate technical concepts and strategic vision clearly to executives, peers, and team members
Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and transformational thinking
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a high-level engineering/development role at a leading power sports company (top 5 strongly preferred)
Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline
Firsthand user experience in power sports products—snowmobiles, ATVs, boats, etc.—is essential
Strong technical acumen combined with excellent strategic thinking and business alignment
Demonstrated leadership of engineering and product development teams with measurable results
High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, empathetic leadership style
Experience or familiarity with core manufacturing processes such as metal fabrication, plastics, electronics, or glass is a plus
Innovative mindset with a drive for pushing boundaries and exploring what's next
