Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Technical Integration Senior Managing Architect (SMA) to serve as the independent technical authority within the Quality Management team for SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA transformations. The role involves providing oversight for technical integration and custom development, ensuring alignment with Clean Core principles and data quality standards.

Responsibilities

Provide independent quality oversight for technical integration, extensibility, and custom development decisions in SAP S/4HANA programs
Evaluate and challenge edge architecture (BTP, side-by-side extensions, APIs, middleware) to enforce Clean Core principles
Review RICEFW objects and enhancement approaches to prevent unnecessary core modifications and future upgrade risk
Provide QM oversight of data conversion and migration approaches, ensuring alignment with target-state process and system design
Validate traceability across process design, functional design, technical build, data, and testing artifacts
Identify, escalate, and articulate systemic risks with clear, evidence-based recommendations to leadership

Qualification

Required

15+ years of SAP technical experience, including large-scale ERP to S/4HANA transformations
Strong expertise in SAP integration and extensibility patterns, Clean Core principles and governance, and custom development oversight (RICEFW)
Proven ability to translate technical detail into program-level and executive-level risk implications
Experience operating in architecture, quality, or independent assurance roles

Preferred

Hands-on experience with data conversion and migration to SAP S/4HANA (ECC to S/4)
Deep understanding of data strategy, including master data governance and ownership models, data quality, cleansing, and harmonization
Familiarity with SAP data migration tooling and approaches (for example, migration cockpit or custom ETL frameworks)
Experience assessing data readiness impacts on testing, cutover, and business adoption
