Responsibilities
Prepare and stage autonomous vehicles for scheduled test operations and service missions
Ensure all vehicles, equipment, and workspaces are clean, safe, and properly configured
Execute mission prep procedures, including launching software across multiple devices, verifying system readiness, and deploying necessary updates
Perform basic charging and equipment setup for electric vehicles and support hardware
Support the logistics and transport of spare parts and help maintain accurate inventory
Document vehicle readiness, system updates, and any operational blockers
Respond as part of the Incident Response Team during recovery or issue scenarios
Provide occasional hands-on technical support (fluid changes, wiring checks, part swaps)
Assist with general test site support, including cones, obstacles, and traffic control
Qualification
Required
2+ years of work experience in a technical, operational, or fleet-related environment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel locally and occasionally nationally (under 30%)
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Comfort with physical tasks: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use carts/dollies, and navigate stairs
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with a “get it done” attitude and urgency
Preferred
Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in Automotive Repair
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace
Experience working in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
