InternKiewit is a full-service consulting and engineering firm serving infrastructure and energy markets. They are seeking a Structural Drafting Intern to assist in the development of 3D models and construction documents while collaborating with engineers and design teams.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with the design team to review and exchange project data for the development of 3D models and construction documents
Collaborate with engineers and design teams of multiple disciplines to develop 3D models of foundations and steel structures
Develop construction documents and 2D drawings from 3D models and verbal / written communications
Proactive about learning new information and developing personal skills
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering and vendor documents
Represent Kiewit Engineering and Design professionally to external stakeholders
Must have a basic knowledge computer operating systems
Must be able to communicate through emails, utilize electronic meeting requests, and working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Pursuing Bachelor degree in Design & Drafting Technology or related field
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
