Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate goals
Serve as a primary point of contact for investors and analysts
Prepare quarterly earnings materials, including scripts, presentations, and Q&A documents
Lead the planning and execution of investor events, including earnings calls, investor days, and roadshows
Monitor analyst reports, market trends, and shareholder sentiment to inform executive leadership
Collaborate with finance, legal, and executive teams to ensure accurate and timely disclosure
Oversee external communications strategy, including press releases, media relations, and crisis communications
Partner with marketing and PR teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across channels
Advise senior leadership on investor perceptions and market dynamics
Develop messaging for M&A, capital raises, and other strategic transactions
Ensure compliance with Canadian and US regulations and disclosure requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
8+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, investment banking, or equity research
Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and capital markets
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to build relationships with investors, analysts, and media
Experience in a publicly traded company, preferably in a high-growth or regulated industry

Preferred

Strategic thinker with a proactive, hands-on approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
Skilled in using IR tools and platforms (Nasdaq IR Insight)
