Demonstrated experience with laboratory instrumentation and methodologies across various departments (e.g., Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology)
Proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Strong understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience with laboratory instrumentation and methodologies across various departments (e.g., Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology)
Proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Strong understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
Minimum one year of experience in an acute care facility required
Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA
Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required
A current Los Angeles County fire card is required
