Responsibilities
Manage and oversee development, integration, testing, staging, production, and disaster recovery environments supporting investment management workflows
Ensure environments meet standards for stability, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance
Plan and coordinate environment readiness for application upgrades, new technology implementations, and release cycles
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, DevOps, and cloud teams to support platforms across Azure, AWS, and enterprise DevOps pipelines
Support data lake platforms, reporting tools, and investment management systems across multiple business functions
Maintain monitoring, alerting, and support processes to ensure high availability and performance
Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
Coordinate vendor-led upgrades, patches, and production support activities
Support vendor performance reviews, risk assessments, and SLA management
Ensure environments comply with internal controls, data privacy standards, and financial services regulatory requirements
Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls and vulnerability monitoring
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and environment standardization
Develop and maintain environment documentation, standards, and operating procedures
Serve as a key liaison between investment business teams, IT, operations, and vendors
Communicate environment status, risks, and improvement initiatives to leadership
Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills when managing competing priorities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience managing complex technical environments in financial services or investment management
Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and environment provisioning
Experience supporting data platforms, reporting tools, and enterprise applications
Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and DevOps environments
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment
Preferred
Experience in Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD environments
Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management frameworks
Experience supporting OCIO, investment consulting, or asset management platforms
Background in environment automation and cloud-based provisioning tools
