Payroll & Benefits Specialist

They are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll data, ensure compliance, and support retirement plan administration while maintaining employee records and collaborating with department managers.

Responsibilities
Prepare and enter semi-monthly payroll data in the HRIS
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee records
Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to ensure timecards are complete, accurate, and properly authorized
Manage payroll reconciliations
Process after-hours pay
Stay current on applicable state and local payroll regulations
Oversee payroll deductions
Process monthly insurance carrier billings
Prepare annual ACA 1094 and 1095 reports
Support retirement plan administration by producing 401(k) audit documentation
Review reports and submissions
Conduct regular HRIS audits to ensure data accuracy
Qualification
Required
5+ years of payroll experience for 200+ employees
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and tax filings
Experience preparing payroll related journal entries and reconciliations
Preferred
Experience with Paylocity
