Software Engineer Stf

Responsibilities
Engage in full life cycle software development for avionics services and mission system technologies
Create simulations to support and accelerate software development and testing
Define requirements by partnering with software and systems engineers to capture rapid prototype needs
Participate in integration and test activities, including hardware in the loop, lab, and field testing
Support milestone planning, integration timelines, and delivery milestones
Provide technical subject matter expertise for avionics subsystems and related software
Qualification
Required
Experience with Linux or RTOS (real-time operating systems) and associated development toolchains
Experience developing software for avionics systems
Experience with build environments and tools such as make and CMake
Experience integrating hardware and software
Experience using Agile software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence)
Ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate effectively with others
Strong decision‑making and judgment skills
