Planet Home Lending, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for working with business users to elicit requirements for the company's LOS applications. This role involves managing project activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of technology solutions in the mortgage lending domain.

Responsibilities

Manages work assignments and activities of the LOS business systems and provides functional, technical, and process changes to those applications

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend operational technology solutions

Analyzes business requests, processes, business rules, LOS related to mortgage lending and translating requirements for development solutions

Creates and maintains requirements, acceptance criteria, test plans, and supporting documentation of user stories and use cases

Communicates with stakeholders and development teams ensuring alignment of business needs and solutions

Supports the implementation of new systems and functionality including but not limited to user acceptance testing, training and documentation, releases, and post release support

Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Minimum five (5) years progressive mortgage experience

Three (3) years progressive business analysis experience

Strong working knowledge of all aspects of the mortgage origination process, including underwriting guidelines, mortgage loan documents, and mortgage lending compliance

Experience in using or supporting mortgage origination system

Organizational and project management skills – must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills

Ability to work with others and independently as the situation requires

Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with external and internal clients across departments and locations

Ability to develop and maintain solid partnerships with business and IT stakeholders

Strong problem-solving skills
