Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and deliver engine calibration development and testing on chassis dynos, test tracks, and public roads
Conduct tailpipe and chassis emissions campaigns, analyze data, and optimize calibrations to meet regulatory targets, fuel-economy, and drivability goals
Prepare clear, insightful technical reports, white papers, and presentations for internal stakeholders and customers
Collaborate closely with OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive calibration solutions
Mentor and coach less-experienced engineers, sharing best practices in calibration workflows and new technologies
Champion safety and quality—strictly adhere to PPE guidelines, our Quality Management System, and all site regulations
Flex to various work locations (office, lab, customer site) and travel domestically or internationally as project demands

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering field
Calibration development experience (1–5+ years) on internal combustion engines, with hands-on use of calibration platforms (e.g., INCA, ATLAS), Matlab/Simulink, and scripting for data reduction
Solid understanding of Engine Management System architectures, OBD/OBDII compliance, exhaust/evap emissions standards, and alternative-fuel or downsized-engine calibration considerations
Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges under tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communicator—confident presenting to engineers, managers, and customers alike
Self-motivated, curious about emerging powertrain technologies, and committed to continuous professional growth
Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel for short- or long-term assignments (including secondments)
