Responsibilities
Represent and advise clients in a wide range of finance transactions, including syndicated and club deals
Work with both bank and non-bank financial institutions, private credit funds, and sponsors on acquisition financings and other leveraged finance matters
Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related transaction materials
Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas to manage cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals
Support clients with structured finance, CLO, and fund finance transactions as opportunities arise
Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years of substantive finance experience at a large law firm
Demonstrated experience in syndicated and club transactions, with particular exposure to private credit sponsor acquisition financings
Proven track record of working on cash flow lending and other complex finance transactions
Admission to the Illinois Bar required
Preferred
Experience in structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance is a strong plus
