Responsibilities
Program industrial robots and lead development of full robotic cells
Deliver PLC programming on platforms like Allen Bradley or Siemens
Support SCADA and Ignition development
Select robots, work with mechanical teams on end of arm tooling, and integrate conveyance and motion equipment
Lead commissioning and testing on customer sites
Work directly with customers and mentor junior engineers
Contribute to a group that is on track to split into multiple standalone teams over the coming years
Qualification
Required
Strong robot programming skills, ideally Fanuc
PLC programming experience in an industrial setting
Background in manufacturing, machinery, tool and die, automotive, or similar environments
Comfortable travelling around twenty to twenty five percent
Ability to work well with customers and adapt to a fast paced integrator culture
Five or more years industry experience
Preferred
Experience with simulation tools, vision systems, AGVs or AMRs is a plus
