Responsibilities
Preparing general ledger journal entries
Processing month-end entries, eliminations, and allocations
Preparing, documenting, and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations
Developing and implementing accounting procedures through analysis of existing processes and recommending changes
Offering accounting support and engaging with departments across the organization
Collaborating with the management team to ensure full compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles
Assisting in internal control documentation, monitoring, and review
Preparing monthly intercompany entries with corporate entities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
At least 2 year of accounting experience in a GAAP environment
Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups)
Proactive with the ability to identify problems and discrepancies, conduct independent research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions
Preferred
Public accounting is desired
