Responsibilities
Developing and tuning control laws using modern and classical control techniques
Building physics-based models of aircraft, sensors, and actuators
Using MATLAB and Simulink to support model-based design, simulation, and validation
Supporting real-time implementations and hardware-in-the-loop environments
Analyzing ground and flight test data to refine models and improve performance
Diagnosing complex system behavior and leading recovery or improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field
At least several years of hands-on controls experience
A background in guidance, navigation, flight controls, or closely related control systems
Experience working with aerospace platforms, particularly unmanned or autonomous systems
Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and control development
Exposure to real-time software or embedded control environments
Experience supporting lab work, ground test, and flight test activities
The ability to move comfortably between theory, simulation, and hardware
Preferred
Advanced degrees are valued but not mandatory
