Account Manager, Employee Benefits Broker

The Account Manager will act as a trusted partner to clients, guiding them through benefits planning, renewals, compliance, and employee communications while advocating for them with carrier partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Own benefits strategy, renewals, marketing, compliance, open enrollment, and employee communications
Produce accurate, high-quality materials and consistently audit work products to minimize errors
Navigate internal resources and leverage carrier and vendor partnerships to advocate for clients and resolve issues effectively
Create employee-facing materials to ensure clarity and engagement
Coordinate & plan times with client and internal leadership for open enrollment meetings
Conduct or help with open enrollment meetings
Ensure accuracy of benefit guide and enrollment materials
Get final revisions & approval from client on open enrollment materials
Compliance review with client; educate on their requirements
Assist client with requesting schedule A’s
Confirm vendor filing
Collect and save final 5500
PCORI fees, Medicare Part D, Section 125, ACA etc
Qualification
Required
Accident and Health license is required
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over your work
Confident, professional communicator with clients, carriers, and internal teams
