Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records
Conduct account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
Prepare financial statements
Analyze budgets
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Oversee payroll
Assist with audits
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making

Required

Proficiency in accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger management
Experience with account reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis
Skilled in using accounting software and tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public-sector or government-contracting environments
Proven expertise in AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and audit facilitation
Mastery of accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements
Exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and discretion
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Commute to this job's location
Valid driver's license

Experience within the manufacturing or distribution industry is a plus
