This role will manage certified payroll reporting, support audits, and collaborate with various teams to mitigate compliance risks.

Responsibilities
Manage certified payroll reporting (WH-347 and agency formats) and California DIR filings, including eCPR and PWC-100
Ensure compliance with prevailing wage, union wage, fringe, and overtime requirements, including complex California wage and hour calculations
Reconcile certified payroll with payroll records, timecards, and general ledger data; prepare audit responses and restitution calculations
Support and manage DIR/DLSE audits and enforcement actions through resolution
Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, Project Management, and Legal teams to identify and mitigate compliance risk
Improve compliance processes, systems, and controls; assist with SOP development and automation efforts
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with California prevailing wage and public works compliance
Proven expertise in certified payroll and DIR systems
Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll/compliance systems (ADP, Paycom, Deltek, LCPtracker, or similar)
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and sound regulatory judgment
Preferred
Multi-state prevailing wage experience
Experience with public agencies or complex corporate structures
