10+ years expRandstad Digital Americas is seeking a highly experienced data engineer to design and implement a modern enterprise data lake and analytics platform for the Finance and Administration organization. This role will focus on building a consolidated data layer and modernizing existing financial data analytics and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and implement a cloud-based data lake and analytics platform supporting Finance and Administration use cases
Partner closely with finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines from multiple upstream systems, including finance, client services, and operational platforms
Perform hands-on development of data transformations, data models, and analytical datasets using SQL and modern ELT patterns
Build and optimize curated data layers to support reporting, analytics, and downstream consumption
Modernize existing Tableau-based reporting solutions by re-platforming datasets and improving performance, scalability, and data consistency
Implement data quality checks, data governance standards & compliance, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and trust in financial data
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data, performance, and pipeline issues across the data platform
Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and reusable data patterns
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to ensure solutions meet governance and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
10-15 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or enterprise data platform development
Strong, hands-on expertise in advanced SQL (such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL), including performance tuning and complex analytical queries
Demonstrated experience implementing data lakes or cloud data platforms, such as: Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda), Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or equivalent platforms
Experience working with Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools (Jenkins or equivalent), version control (Git) and Orchestration tools
Experience operating in a DevOps environment with cloud technologies. Amazon Web Services is a plus
Experience building end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers
Strong experience supporting business intelligence and analytics tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
Solid understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional, normalized, and analytical models)
Experience working with financial data domains (e.g., accounting, FP&A, budgeting, expense, headcount, or vendor data)
Ability to independently implement solutions from requirements through production deployment
Preferred
Experience with AI technologies is a plus
