IT Solution Analyst (contract)

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day logistics for SCADA, LMR, and IT/OT infrastructure, including receiving, staging, kitting, and dispatching equipment
Coordinate material availability and delivery schedules to support field crews, construction activities, and maintenance work
Support emergency response logistics and provide after-hours support when required
Maintain accurate inventory records using Smartsheet and warehouse management systems
Perform cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy and asset accountability
Manage Bills of Materials and ensure materials are properly tracked from receipt through deployment
Track WBS and Internal Orders, reconcile material usage, and support financial reporting for capital and O&M projects
Support logistics and handling of SCADA, LMR, and IT/OT network equipment, including Motorola, Nokia 7705, Cisco, fiber, and related infrastructure components
Ensure secure transport, storage, and handling of sensitive IT/OT assets
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant delivery of materials
Receive and inspect inbound shipments to verify accuracy, condition, and compliance with technical specifications and purchase orders
Resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, inventory, or documentation
Ensure compliance with utility safety protocols, hazardous materials handling requirements, and regulatory standards
Document warehouse processes, inventory procedures, and asset movement to support consistency and knowledge transfer
Communicate effectively with field crews, engineers, project managers, and leadership regarding material status, inventory levels, and logistical constraints
Generate inventory, usage, and reconciliation reports to support operational and financial decision-making
Qualification

Previous experience supporting warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management in an IT, utility, or field operations environment
Demonstrated experience with inventory control systems, WMS tools, or digital asset tracking platforms
Background in managing Bills of Materials and reconciling material usage across projects
Preferred
Experience in the utility, energy, or critical infrastructure sector is preferred
Familiarity with SCADA and LMR systems, including Motorola equipment and RET cables is advantageous
Knowledge of IT/OT network equipment such as Cisco and Nokia 7705 platforms is a plus
Experience with SAP or ERP systems, including materials management and WBS/IO tracking is beneficial
Understanding of fiber handling and secure equipment transport protocols is valued
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and installation documentation is preferred
