Responsibilities
Collaborates with business teams to create roadmaps of strategic initiatives and data related requirements
Lead the development, establishment, and enforcement of data quality and security standards across the firm
Drive implementation and support of Master Data Management solution
Direct the analysis of documentation and technical specifications for any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality and impact on existing data structures
Visionary identifying and promoting opportunities across the enterprise for enhanced data usage
Assists with process capture and model using flowcharting tools
Create data models and database designs working with the application development teams
Ensure that that ETL and dashboard software development, software release and quality measures comply with regulatory standards, industry standards, and accepted best practices
Create methodologies and processes for the collection and analysis of data for ensuring software, systems, and product quality
Determine the selection and appropriate usage of data aggregation, transformation and analysis tools
Oversee both dashboard and integration performance and data quality
Works closely with Risk and Information Governance team understanding how teams are accessing and utilizing data to provide insights to their internal and external audience
Manage all members of the Data Engineering team and ensure that aggressive deadlines are met
Qualification
Required
7 years of relevant experience required
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
Extensive experience with both logical and physical database design utilizing technologies such as MS SQL, Postgres
Big Data technologies: Azure Datalake, Data Bricks and Data Factories
Well versed in API, Integration and ETL processes
Fluent in SQL and SSIS
Familiar with other tech programming languages such as Java, Python or MS.Net
