VP, Paid Search
Havas Media Network is seeking a Vice President, Paid Search who will be responsible for the strategic vision, operational excellence, and financial performance of the agency’s Paid Search portfolio. This role involves overseeing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth through integrated media strategies.
Responsibilities
Set and enforce the strategic standard for Paid Search excellence across assigned accounts, ensuring insight-driven planning, flawless execution, and consistent quality control
Own portfolio-level financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing plans, and annual financial and resource planning
Serve as senior client lead, building trusted executive relationships and representing the agency in high-level meetings
Partner with Practice Leadership to evolve the Performance Media vision, capabilities, and areas of expertise
Drive revenue growth through account expansion, cross-channel integration, and participation in multiple new business pitches annually
Build and sustain a culture of collaboration, accountability, and intellectual curiosity
Lead, coach, and inspire teams to deliver programs aligned to client business outcomes
Champion and model best-in-class account management and operational practices
Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning for direct reports
Promote cross-media planning fluency and collaboration across Paid Search, SEO, Social, and broader media teams
Own the vision and roadmap for leveraging generative and agentic AI within Paid Search
Ensure AI-powered audience intelligence, predictive modeling, and market insights to inform strategic planning and client transformation
Act as executive lead for integrated search, ensuring Paid Search, SEO, Social, and media channels operate within a unified 'One Search' framework
Set top-down direction for keyword, audience, and intent mapping across channels
Own integrated forecasting and holistic performance narratives, clearly articulating total search impact on revenue and enterprise value
Recognized subject-matter expert who continuously develops skills and elevates team knowledge
Delivers integrated, innovative performance strategies that advance client business objectives
Shifts client conversations from tactical media execution to data-driven performance marketing
Supports standardized processes, best practices, and participates in new business efforts
Mentors across teams and contributes to culture-building and agency initiatives
Shapes agency-wide thought leadership and contributes beyond client-specific work
Expands senior client relationships and influences new or enhanced service offerings
Anticipates market and client shifts, rapidly developing actionable plans and business cases
Leads departmental initiatives and plays a major role in multiple new business wins
Serves as a trusted advisor, mentor, and visible leader of culture- and agency-building efforts
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of progressive account leadership experience in online advertising, with deep expertise in Paid Search
4–6+ years of success leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams
Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and their application to client growth and agency revenue
Proven ability to translate strategy into execution while managing complex portfolios and financial plans
Deep knowledge of agency products and services, with a track record of expanding client investment through integrated solutions
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CoPilot365
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple senior-level initiatives simultaneously
