Responsibilities
Act as the technical point of contact between our internal teams and external spacecraft vendor(s)
Drive spacecraft architecture, trade studies, and component selection
Own system-level requirements, interface control documents, and verification planning
Lead design reviews, integration planning, and cross-subsystem coordination
Contribute hands-on to development, AIT (assembly, integration & test), and early flight readiness milestones
Qualification
Required
Deep experience in full-lifecycle satellite development
Delivered full spacecraft - from requirements to launch
Worked at the vehicle level, across subsystems (avionics, propulsion, thermal, structures, comms, power)
Confident navigating vendor relationships, timelines, and system integration
Thrive in early-stage, fast-paced teams and take ownership without needing micromanagement
Preferred
Experience with optical payloads
Experience with laser comms
Experience with radiation-hardened satellite components
