Tanner Health is seeking an Epic Beaker Senior Analyst to provide primary support for users within the Laboratory Department. This role involves coordinating issues, understanding laboratory workflows, and serving as a liaison between technical staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Beaker Analysts are the primary support contact for users within the Laboratory Department space

Beaker analysts coordinate issues which arise for their application area and must be knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, quality standards, and business operations

Familiarity with a healthcare organization's Laboratory Department workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences as well as understanding a wide array of integration points is required

Beaker analysts must make decisions regarding the urgency and or seriousness of calls and serve as a liaison between the technical staff of the department and the department’s wide variety of customers and must escalate appropriately to resolve issues

Depending on operations, business or project needs, the Beaker Analyst may be asked to perform duties outside what is defined in the job description on a temporary basis

Telecommuting privileges may be granted after the initial probationary period

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Five years of related experience

Broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures

Familiarity with a healthcare organization's Laboratory Department workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences

Understanding a wide array of integration points

Ability to make decisions regarding the urgency and or seriousness of calls

Serve as a liaison between the technical staff of the department and the department's wide variety of customers

Ability to escalate appropriately to resolve issues

Ability to perform duties outside what is defined in the job description on a temporary basis

Preferred

Current Epic certification(s) or accreditation in area of support

Epic certification in other areas may be considered initially

Bachelor's Degree

Additional Epic Certifications or Accreditations and Badges

Analyst level and role specific qualifications outlined in the Information Technology Analyst Ladder policy
