Responsibilities
Perform fit-for-purpose testing, following operating procedures, in support of manufacturing including in-line and finished product release testing using various analytical techniques
Prepare standards and samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimum supervision, as needed
Document and report analytical testing data in LIMS Database and in a laboratory notebook following good documentation practices
Assist in out of specification investigations by performing relevant testing and documenting appropriately
Apply your knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Processes focusing on supporting continuous improvement activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field from an accredited university
Minimum of 3 years of industry or other relevant market experience, preferably in chemistry or bio/pharmaceutical industry
Hands-on experience with wet chemistry and basic Analytical instruments is required
Preferred
5 years of industry or other relevant market experience, preferably in chemistry or bio/pharmaceutical industry
Experience running chromatography and spectroscopy related instruments (HPLC/LC-MS/GC/UV-VIS/IR/) and other advanced instruments is preferred
Familiarity with Analytical test methods including ACS, USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, FCC strongly preferred
