Stepping Stones Ohio is a non-profit organization that has been serving children and adults with disabilities since 1963. The internship involves assisting with the planning and execution of special events and supporting marketing initiatives for the agency.

Responsibilities

Intern will assist with the planning, promotion and execution of two special events as well as various marketing/communications initiatives

Intern will assist with event logistics, planning and execution as well as volunteer recruitment for the Golf Classic

Intern will help with event planning, publicity, auction and record-keeping for the Bloom For Stepping Stones event

Ongoing responsibility includes updating files and databases, making follow-up calls and working very closely with our auction platform, GiveSmart

Intern will assist Development team with several responsibilities as it relates to marketing, including but not limited to: Taking photos of programs to be used for social media, website and marketing collateral, creating monthly donor updates, assisting in creating and scheduling content for social media and email blasts, creating a slideshow to be shown at Bloom including sponsors and promotional information, taking photos of Bloom auction items to be used on GiveSmart, assisting in promotion of Bloom including media releases to local publications and volunteer recruitment
