Responsibilities

Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack technical solutions
Build and enhance systems leveraging distributed microservices, machine learning capabilities, and data-intensive architectures
Develop using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, and SQL
Work with relational and non-relational databases, including open-source and cloud-based data platforms
Design and deliver scalable solutions using cloud data warehousing technologies
Partner with product managers to deliver reliable, high-performing cloud applications
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, conducting peer reviews to ensure quality and performance
Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to engineering best practices through knowledge sharing and mentoring
Engage with internal and external technical communities to continuously improve engineering capabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree required
4+ years of professional experience in application development
2+ years of experience working with big data technologies
1+ year of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Preferred

7+ years of experience in application development using Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
4+ years of experience working in a public cloud environment
Strong experience with distributed computing and data processing tools
Experience building real-time or streaming data applications
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting
Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven engineering teams
