Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

Networking with lawyers and law firms in-person, online, making cold/warm calls, and follow-up calls to generate new business
Building relationships with attorneys and law firm clients by thinking creatively and developing ways to make you and Cartiga their go-to source for their funding needs
Diligently utilize Salesforce tools to effectively manage the sales process and maintain relevant activity, notes, and case status
Manage and maintain accounts — prepare emails, documents, and contracts, while paying close attention to details and documenting them in Salesforce
Work in collaboration with attorney clients and your support team to ensure that plaintiffs funding application and contract get approved
Attend sales conferences and meetings, as needed

Required

Legal/Medical/Financial Services industry sales experience is a PLUS
1-5+ years of B2B sales, account management and relationship building experience
Polished and effective communicator—well-spoken, personable, and direct yet tactful
Accountable with an insatiable thirst to be successful, drive to be the best, and motivation to make it all happen
Charismatic, collaborative and can develop relationships with a variety of roles including internal and external clients (administrative and executive staff, including business-owners)
Organized, dependable and have excellent time-management skills (you must be able to oversee multiple accounts at once, arrive early for meetings/appointments, and be diligent at following-up)
Pay close attention to detail and are a diligent note-taker/note-maker
Preferably, have worked on Salesforce or any CRM to manage client files
Computer savvy and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook email/calendar)
Can think quickly, problem-solve, and project confidence (even when you don't have all the answers)
Professional, take pride in your work and have a strong work-ethic
Dress for success, always well-groomed in front of clients and at business events
Have reliable transportation
