Responsibilities
Lead and mentor engineering teams through all project phases from design through commissioning
Establish engineering standards and quality control protocols for nuclear construction requirements
Coordinate with project management to deliver engineering scope on schedule and within budget
Ensure compliance with nuclear industry codes, regulations, and NQA-1 quality standards
Resolve technical challenges and provide engineering solutions for construction issues
Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and engineering firms on technical matters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree Engineering - in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 10 years progressive engineering experience in heavy civil, industrial, or related sectors
Minimum 5 years direct nuclear industry experience (power generation, DOE facilities, nuclear infrastructure)
Engineering management experience leading teams of 5+ engineers
Proven project management experience with scope, budget, and schedule responsibility
Heavy civil, mining, tunneling, or related construction experience
Strong understanding of nuclear quality assurance and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strategic problem-solving with focus on practical solutions
Commitment to safety culture and nuclear industry standards
Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs
Preferred
PE license
PMP certified
