Responsibilities

Document test or verification results and test methodologies are in compliance with internal or external requirements with direct guidance
Report bugs during verification and implement corrective action, where needed, with external suppliers or internal development teams
Assist with conducting audits of validation or performance qualification processes to ensure compliance with internal or regulatory requirements
Support effective testing and product improvement in accordance with software test plans and procedures by adapting and implementing critical tests developed by senior test engineers
Help in performing low-complexity measurements and use test equipment for debugging on standard issues, with direct guidance
Debug tests with design engineers to help develop functionally correct design blocks
Follow procedures to demonstrate product compliance and manage evaluation of test equipment required to verify product performance during qualification tests
Participate in test plans and reviews, including documentation of experiment conditions and results, with some supervision
Help in identifying and selecting test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, testers, microscope, chambers, analyzers, generators, optical debug tools) with close supervision

Required

2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or material handling, preferably within the Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical industries
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Biology or Operations Management is a plus
Proficiency in test design
Proficiency in troubleshooting and failure analysis
Proficiency in debugging skills
Proficiency in layout/PCB design
Proficiency in hardware systems and subsystems implementation
Proficiency in test planning
Domain specific knowledge
Data analysis and synthesis
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) environments
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, NetSuite) and Excel
Experience tracking lot numbers and expiration dates
Deep understanding of PPE requirements in a lab/production environment (safety glasses, lab coats, gloves) and chemical safety (SDS)
Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move pallets of feed and equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to thrive in a 'startup-like' environment within Alphabet, where priorities shift based on biological cycles and field trial results
