Technical Sales Specialist
Procom is a company focused on transformer components, and they are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to lead the technical sales and product homologation efforts. The role involves managing sales strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert technical support to customers.
Responsibilities
Lead technical sales efforts from opportunity identification to order booking
Manage the full product homologation and end-user approval process
Provide expert technical support and product knowledge to customers and internal teams
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals
Coordinate product testing and documentation for regulatory compliance
Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and testing laboratories
Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities
Build strong relationships with end users to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
This role requires up to 50% travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in transformer tap changers
Strong technical knowledge of transformer components and construction
Experience with homologation and regulatory compliance processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate across functions and work in a global environment
Willingness and ability to travel domestically
