Customer Support Specialist
Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a global organization to add a Customer Support Specialist to their team in Tampa. The role involves supporting customers with order requests and serving as the main point of contact for various teams regarding orders and shipments.
Responsibilities
Support customers on order requests made via phone, fax, or email
Be the main point of contact for customers, plants, transportation, credit and marketing team, concerning all orders and shipment issues
Develop full knowledge of products, inventories, sites specifics, as well as Customer Service and Supply Chain procedures, for sound decision making of every order request
Ensure proper alignment between all parts involved in the order, to prevent problems resulting in a financial impact or operational errors
Hold critical judgment of orders, to identify possible shipment delays or improper pricing
Confirm complete ship-to on orders, ensuring accurate, on-time delivery
Take over Point Person duties for plants or other duties as assigned by the CS Manager
Portray a positive image through daily contact with customers and evaluation of customer needs, delivering support in a polite and respectful manner
Qualification
Required
SAP experience required
Microsoft Excel experience required
Minimum three years of experience within Customer Service
Work experience in a global organization or Supply Chain or related fields (or Associate Degree in Business Administration)
Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Strong team & support orientation
Solid customer service skills
Good Microsoft skills, specifically MS Outlook and Excel
Answer phone calls timely
Read, sort documentation
Work with computer systems
Multitask
Problem solve
Be attentive to details
