Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SAN Storage platforms (Pure, IBM, Dell, NetApp) for optimal performance and reliability
Oversee SAN connectivity to mainframe environments and resolve integration issues
Administer and maintain VMware virtualized environments and Windows servers
Perform Active Directory administration, including user management, group policies, and security configurations
Execute system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting with minimal downtime
Create and maintain detailed documentation for system rewrites and ongoing improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
Participate in on-call rotations for nightly and weekend patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting

Required

10+ years of experience in SAN Storage administration (Pure, IBM, Dell, NetApp)
Expertise in SAN connectivity to mainframe environments
Strong experience managing VMware virtualized environments
Proficiency in Windows system administration and Active Directory management
Knowledge of system management processes, scripting languages, and utility programs
Experience with patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while managing priorities

Preferred

Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or SAN vendor-specific certifications
Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation
