Responsibilities

Executes ‘day-to-day’ and periodic NERC Program requirements as provided by the CAMS NERC / FERC Director of Compliance
Supports assigned facility personnel with all NERC, Regional Reliability Entities (NPCC) issues that impact facility operations
Executes ‘day-to-day’, monthly, and annual NERC Program requirements as provided by the CAMS NERC / FERC Director of Compliance
Responsible for the timely preparation and/or oversight required for routine and non-routine reports to NERC, Regional Reliability Entities, and other applicable registered entities at assigned facilities specifically relating to CIP compliance
Upholds compliance programs at the assigned facilities and ensures the programs are current with all enforcement dates and all registered entity functions are in compliance with those programs. Evaluates, develops, and recommends new programs for integration into facility operations
Verify or complete all day-to-day NERC CIP compliance work at the assigned facilities
Conduct training site personnel regarding regulatory programs at assigned facilities
Carries out complex projects and assignments independently
Oversees contractor and vendor regulatory related tasks and adherence to compliance programs
Maintains project regulatory records and filing system
Prepares and submits routine FERC and NERC reports
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on networking experience, preferably in distributed control systems
Experience with NERC compliance or similar regulatory frameworks preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 25 lbs), climbing, bending, and working in industrial environments

Preferred

Industry certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+
Experience with ConsoleWorks or similar remote access/network monitoring tools
Familiarity with power plant operations and compliance functions
Working knowledge of FERC, NERC, and Regional Reliability Entity standards and reporting requirements
Strong commitment to cybersecurity excellence and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and assess compliance risks in real-time
