Senior Designer, Gas Pipeline
CobbFendley & Associates, Inc. is committed to providing innovative engineering and surveying solutions. They are seeking an experienced Gas Pipeline Senior Designer to lead design efforts and manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Lead design efforts across multiple disciplines and create innovative solutions to complex design problems
Independently prepare and review various design deliverables while managing simultaneous projects
Work with rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from clients or Project Managers for use in developing construction drawings
Generate plan and profile drawings, including cross-sections and underground utilities, from reference files, survey files, and/or record drawings
Create baselines, cross sections, and extract profiles from DTM, TIN, and/or contours
Meet project completion dates and budgets set by the Project Lead
Collaborate effectively with clients, staff, supervisors, and principals
Mentor and provide direction to other design and CAD personnel in the use of tools and preparation of design deliverables
Perform thorough quality control on construction drawings, exhibits, and related documents
Complete work in compliance with Company, Client, and Industry standards
Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate, error-free work products
Adhere to CobbFendley’s safety standards to maintain a safe and efficient environment
Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity
Qualification
Required
20+ years of progressive gas utility and pipeline design experience required
AutoCAD capabilities required
MicroStation capabilities required
Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines
Desire to collaborate with professionals and clients to increase your industry knowledge and grow in your career
Commitment to perform responsibilities consistent with industry standards to achieve department and company goals
Interest in developing relationships with clients, partners, and local organizations to remain a trusted resource in the community
