Responsibilities

Partner with internal Boeing and military customers to define operational problems and success metrics
Perform competitor assessments across helicopter / UAS markets and deliver to business developers
Perform Capability Based Assessments (CBA) and cost effectiveness analysis
Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and Trade Studies for Design and Sub-Systems
Support requirements definition, derivation and validation
Perform sensitivity, scenario, and uncertainty analyses to quantify risks and tradeoffs
Perform survivability analysis
Communicate technical results and recommended actions to non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations
Contribute to cross-functional projects, sharing best practices and mentoring engineers and business developers outside the group
Identifies opportunities for evolutionary or revolutionary product concepts by predicting future customer requirements through operations analyses and development of high-level models associated with operational scenarios when required

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years of military operational experience as a rated rotary wing aviator. Service in an Apache attack Helicopter Battalion or Air Cavalry Squadron is desired
Experience working with engineering / integrated product teams to resolve issues and integrate solutions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to both technical and non-technical audiences
This position requires an active Secret clearance level U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Preferred

Familiarity with combat simulation tools (ATCOM, AFSIM, JCATS, ONESAF) and stochastic process modeling is desired
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Magic System of Systems Architect (MSOSA) model or IBM Rhapsody is desired
Familiarity with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System)
Familiarity with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) tools is desired
Familiarity with geospatial analysis / mission planning tools (AMPS) and human-in-the-loop simulation is desired
