New Grad, Entry LevelLockheed Martin Space is seeking a Harness Technician to join their Production Operations team. The role involves the fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware, as well as performing a variety of hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly tasks.

Responsibilities
Fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware
Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly
Able to work and build assemblies with work instructions
Perform a variety of hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations
Conduct basic math and use computers at a basic level
Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions
Qualification
Required
Fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware
Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly
Able to work and build assemblies with work instructions
Perform a variety of hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations
Conduct basic math and use computers at a basic level

Ability to work the variable shifts below contingent upon business needs
Preferred
Familiarity with harness fabrication / cable and connector assembly
Familiarity with the use of a variety of tools and materials related to electrical cable / wire harness fabrication and basic mechanical assembly
Have the ability to be trained and certified in accordance with LM SSC training requirements to perform all duties related to assigned tasks (IPC620/610 certification)
