Responsibilities
Own technical strategy and lead architectural initiatives for Weaver modernization and API marketplace adoption
Ensure resilient, high-performance design across all platform versions
Drive best practices for SDLC and enforce coding standards
Champion innovation by introducing new features and enhancements to future-proof the platform
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
Drive migration of multiple data sources to the cloud while ensuring regulatory compliance
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Strong Java backend development expertise, including hands-on coding and troubleshooting
Proficiency in Java Spring framework for building scalable applications
Experience with OpenShift for container orchestration and deployment
Experience with Tomcat and WebSphere application servers
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, such as Splunk and Grafana
Basic SQL skills for database interactions
Understanding of AWS infrastructure and cloud-based environments
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and drive innovation
Experience working with large-scale API ecosystems and supporting enterprise-level platforms
Preferred
Demonstrate experience with microservices architecture and API design
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in financial services
Strong communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and guide teams
