Responsibilities
Work directly alongside a senior partner to grow the practice locally while drawing on the full strength of a national healthcare platform
Work on high-end healthcare transactional matters, primarily involving private equity–backed transactions
Represent physician and provider practices (including dental and medical groups)
Represent hospitals and healthcare systems
Represent ambulatory surgery centers
Represent long-term care and assisted living facilities
Represent dialysis centers, imaging facilities, labs, and specialty clinics
Work with private equity funds, lenders, and investors active in healthcare
Qualification
Required
3+ years of healthcare transactional experience
Experience with private equity–backed healthcare deals is essential
Background from a top-tier or Am Law–caliber firm
Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
Comfortable being relied upon for technical expertise
Active California Bar admission
Preferred
Provider-side transaction experience strongly preferred
