Responsibilities

Support the State of Washington's ACES project, focusing on Medicaid and eligibility systems

Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs and CICS transactions

Optimize DB2 queries and stored procedures to ensure system performance

Create and manage JCL scripts for batch processing and automation tasks

Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business teams to deliver reliable solutions

Qualification

COBOLCICSDB2JCLMedicaid/Eligibility experience

Required

Advanced proficiency in COBOL coding, debugging, and performance optimization (8+ years)

Prior experience supporting a State Medicaid/Eligibility project

Strong knowledge of CICS online transaction processing and system integration

Advanced skills in DB2 database development, query optimization, and data management

Extensive experience developing and maintaining JCL scripts for batch jobs
