Founding Head of Outbound (Sales + SDR Leadership)
Startupr is a performance-based lead generation company specializing in building pipeline and booking qualified meetings for B2B companies. They are seeking a founding leader to scale their outbound engine while leading a team of SDRs and driving revenue through client acquisition.

Responsibilities
Close new clients for Startupr - lead discovery calls, negotiate deals, and drive revenue
Lead and develop an outbound pod (SDRs/appointment setters) to deliver consistent, high-quality meetings
Conduct discovery calls, demos, follow-ups, and close deals
Build predictable pipeline with weekly targets, forecasting, and deal hygiene
Collaborate with CEO on offer positioning, ICP refinement, and service packaging
Provide daily coaching, standups, call reviews, and performance management
Optimize conversion across the funnel: dials → connects → meetings → show rate → qualified opportunities
Develop and maintain playbooks including call scripts, objection handling frameworks, QA scorecards, and SOPs
Source, assess, conduct roleplay interviews, and onboard new SDRs as we scale
Maintain CRM discipline and data integrity without creating bottlenecks
Build dashboards to track activity, outcomes, and quality metrics
Design and execute experiments (messaging, targeting, timing, multi-channel sequences) and document insights
Audit current funnel, call scripts, cadences, and reporting infrastructure
Deliver updated call script, QA scorecard, and daily operating rhythm
Establish baseline metrics and weekly scoreboard for the pod
Generate predictable pipeline with clean forecasting
SDR pod executes consistently with clear standards and accountability systems
Quality control mechanisms ensure meeting quality scales with volume
Scale output while maintaining quality through repeatable systems and coaching frameworks
Successfully hire and onboard additional outbound representatives
Operate as the clear owner of outbound performance and growth
Qualification
Required
3–7 years in B2B outbound sales with progression through SDR/BDR → AE/Closer → team lead roles
Proven ability to close deals independently - comfortable with discovery, objection handling, and negotiation
Experience coaching or mentoring sales representatives with strong performance diagnostic skills
Process-driven mindset focused on outcomes and quality over vanity metrics
Thrives in startup environments characterized by speed, ambiguity, ownership, and accountability
Strong phone presence with North America cold-calling experience
Preferred
Experience selling services (lead generation, agency, consulting) or SaaS to founders and operators
Familiarity with modern outbound technology stack (CRM, dialer, sequencer, data enrichment tools)
Benefits
Equity: 3.0% for part-time; 4.0% if you join full-time from Day 1 (standard vesting)
Commission/Revenue Share: Uncapped, paid on closed deals
Base Salary: Introduced upon reaching defined revenue milestones (target timeline: 3–4 months, performance-dependent)
