Regional Manager-AVP Greater Nebraska
Union Bank & Trust is seeking a Regional Manager/AVP for the Greater Nebraska area. This role is responsible for managing customer service branches, leading by example in customer service and sales, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
Manage multiple customer service branches and lead by example in customer service, sales, and branch management. Participate and contribute to internal and external discussions pertinent to practices, procedures, and regulations involving branch personnel
Contribute to fostering a fun, friendly work environment for staff and customers
Lead in communicating all staff happenings, changes, practices, and meetings to ensure communication lines are open
Prepare and conduct all branch manager 4x2s, provide ongoing coaching and developing of management and staff
Responsible for budgeting, annual goal setting, coordination of marketing activities, career development, and staffing
Oversee all matters for managers regarding hiring, involuntary terminations, discipline, and grievances
Participate in bi-weekly customer service management meetings either in person or via conference call to stay abreast of happenings and current events and communicate this information back to management team
Serve as a positive role model in achieving branch goals and always represents the bank in a professional manner
Assist with planning and implementation of Greater Nebraska branch manager meetings and other meetings and trainings for all Greater Nebraska employees
Responsible for coordinating regular team meetings during normal working hours and after hours
Maintain knowledge in areas of teller responsibilities, new accounts, and loans, to assist as needed
Participate and attend task force and committee meetings as requested
Ensure direct reports are trained and comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations applicable to their roles. Monitor subordinates’ adherence to internal controls and take action to address employee performance issues
Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required
Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies
Lead and support various department and bank projects and initiatives
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years management/supervisory experience required
5-year minimum financial experience required
Proven and demonstrated leadership and management skills
Demonstrated ability to conduct presentations
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Valid Nebraska driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurability
Preferred
Projects a professional image and positively promotes the bank's products, services, policies, and customer service philosophy
Ability to handle adverse situations and maintain composure
Good judgment skills and ability to make sound decisions
Must be self-motivated and take initiative
Accuracy and attention to detail
