Responsibilities
Support automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment across multiple production stations
Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting to maintain equipment uptime
Optimize and sustain welding and crimping processes to meet quality and performance requirements
Execute equipment setup, calibration, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) activities
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment and process issues
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, PM schedules, and validation documentation
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to support ongoing manufacturing operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
2–5+ years of experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems
Direct experience supporting or validating welding processes (ultrasonic, laser, resistance, or thermal)
Working knowledge of crimping processes, tooling, and pull testing
Experience executing equipment validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Experience working under FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements
